The Taiwan Hardware Show came to the end of its three-day run in Taipei on 25 October 2008. The number of exhibitors experienced an increase of 35 per cent on the previous year for a total of 246. According to figures from the organisers, 13 788 visitors registered to attend the show and get an overview of the range of hand, garden and power tools on display, as well as security products, building materials, interior decoration and plumbing. For the first time the “Home and Lifestyle Fair” was held in parallel. Here the product categories on view included bathroom fittings, kitchen equipment, electrical devices, outdoor and leisure articles, and flat-pack furniture.
