Expansion in the east

Obi opened the company’s second DIY store (plus garden centre) in Ukraine on 14 November 2008. Situated in Mariupol (in the Donezk region), the superstore features a sales area of approx. 11 000 m² and a product range comprising 40 000 lines. According to information from the company, the majority of the products are sourced from Ukrainian suppliers and sales partners, and around 20 per cent of the range is imported.
