New fair in India

Koelnmesse will for the first time be staging the India International Hardware Show Powered by Practical World from 22 – 24 October 2009. It is to be an annual trade fair held in New Delhi. Plans for the premiere foresee 160 exhibitors on a gross exhibition space of 4 000 m². The organisers hope that the new fair will offer small and medium-sized European businesses an international platform for entering the market in India, which Oliver P. Kuhrt, Koelnmesse’s executive vice president, says is showing double-digit rates of growth in the categories of tools, hardware and DIY.
