Slightly more visitors

Altogether 47 730 trade visitors came to Hortifair from 14 to 17 October to gather the latest information. That amounts to about 900 more than last year. Half of all visitors came from the Netherlands, while horticultural specialists from eastern Europe and the Middle East formed the main element among the foreign visitors. More than 900 companies from 49 countries exhibited in Amsterdam, where the motto was “Growing Sustainably”. The next Hortifair will be held from 13 to 16 October 2009.
