Above-target sales

Sagaflor, a German cooperative organisation, is exceeding its sales targets during this current year. Retail sales of all the affiliated partner companies, both in the garden and the pet sectors, have seen growth of 1 to 2 per cent on average. As the specialist cooperative reports, it has further increased its level of concentration as a result. So far this year 56 new member companies have joined the organisation. On 1 October 2008 Sagaflor had 580 member companies with 827 outlets in Germany and Austria, as well as three partner firms in Switzerland.
