Joint purchasing

Two German companies, Eurobaustoff and NBB (Bauspezi), are planning to work together in certain areas with effect from 1 January 2009. The cooperation agreement stipulates that Eurobaustoff is to take over purchasing negotiations and buying from all the listed suppliers of both companies, before making out the invoices at its headquarters in Karlsruhe. Both parties to the contract expect improved terms from their suppliers – through bundling demand and streamlining the administrative processing of sales orders.
