New management

Munich-based Baywa has appointed Werner Carl as the new director of the DIY and garden store division with effect from 1 October 2008. Mr Carl was for many years chief executive officer of Max Bahr, before the company was sold to Praktiker. He is succeeding Kai Kächelein, who has left the company.
