“Creativity and inventive talent”

The winners of the “Water Power” Innovation Forum, which was held in Cologne as part of Spoga+Gafa 2008, have been decided. First by a considerable margin was Oase with its new “Pond Manager”. The seven members of the jury, who came from industry, commerce and the trade press, awarded second prize to Medipool, an exhibiting company that is launching a simplified technique for determining the level of oxygen and pH in swimming pools. Third prize went to the “Pond Guard” entered by Velda. “The creativity and inventive talent of a fair’s exhibitors contribute significantly to its continuing existence,” enthused Metin Ergül, divisional manager of Koelnmesse, at the presentation of the awards. This year saw a total of 21 products, more than ever before, entered in the competition, which is organised by Dähne Verlag in cooperation with Koelnmesse.
