Husqvarna, Gardena’s Swedish parent group, achieved sales of approx. € 3.6 bn in 2007. This means that inflation-adjusted corporate sales dropped by 3 per cent compared with 2006 after adjustment for acquisitions. Under the new corporate structure Gardena will in future have responsibility for all consumer brands (Gardena, Flymo, Partner, McCulloch) belonging to Husqvarna. Gardena is to be positioned in the up-market price segment of the product categories covering watering equipment, hand tools, and power or cordless tools.
