84 per cent of the French shower at least once a day, but the figure is only 57 per cent for Italians and Belgians. In Austria 57 per cent are confessed evening shower addicts. Whereas 80 per cent of Germans regularly shower with hot water, only 53 per cent do so in Belgium. The survey also brings interesting insights when it comes to shower utensils. While the preference of 58 per cent of Italians is for a sponge, and the same proportion of Belgians prefer a wash mitt, 71 per cent of Germans use nothing but their hands.
