Change at Baumax

Jörg Bierlein, 37, who is currently managing director of Baumax Romania, is taking over management of the Baumax subsidiary in Turkey. The Austrian DIY retailer intends to open its first stores there in 2009/2010. Mr Bierlein has been with Baumax for the past four years. His current responsibilities in Romania are to be taken over by Alexander Frech, 30, who has worked there as sales manager for eighteen months.
