Hagebau Austria’s centrally invoiced sales amounted to € 270 mio in 2007, or 29.4 per cent below the figure for the previous year. According to information from Hagebau’s head office, this decline was caused solely by the hiving off of the group’s retail business. The 49 Austrian Hagebaumarkt stores, which have been wholly administered by Zeus since the beginning of 2007, increased their retail sales by 4.9 per cent in 2007. The specialised building materials trade raised its centrally invoiced sales by 3.1 per cent. The number of voluntary members remained constant at 40, and their companies were active on 152 locations in Austria.
