Appointment of UK boss

Clas Ohlson, a Swedish DIY retailer, has appointed Mark Gregory as managing director of its UK subsidiary with effect from 1 July 2008. Mr Gregory comes from Clermont Leisure, where he served as chief operating officer from 2007. Prior to that he held various positions with other companies, including the UK retail group Argos. Clas Ohlson has confirmed its aim to open two to four stores in the United Kingdom this year and next.
