Eco-friendly gardening

A study from Bosch Lawn & Garden reveals that preserving the environment is of no consequence to one-quarter of the UK's amateur gardeners. The figure is just under 60 per cent for those between 25 and 44 years, the age group that is supposedly environmentally aware. Altogether 45 per cent of respondents recycle their rubbish, one-third collect water and 15 per cent exchange petrol-operated tools for cordless versions.
