Sales by the French Bricorama Group in the first quarter of 2008 totalled € 146.8 mio, 3.9 per cent down on the same period in the previous year. In France, sales declined by 5.8 per cent to € 96.8 mio and in Spain by 4.2 per cent to € 2.5 mio. Only in Belgium and the Netherlands, where the group is a franchisee of Intergamma, was a modest increase of 0.2 per cent to € 47.5 mio recorded. For fiscal 2008 the group is sticking to its target of increasing sales and profit compared with last year.
