Bulgarian market entry

Baumax opened the group’s first two DIY superstores in Bulgaria on 15 and 22 April 2008. This is the eighth country that Baumax has moved into. The two outlets, which are 12 500 m² and 10 500 m² in size, were inaugurated in Plovdiv and Stara Zagora. It is planned to open three stores per year over the next few years. Next on the development schedule are Burgas, Sofia and Pleven.
