Departure at year’s end

An announcement from Home Depot reveals that Bob DeRodes, executive vice president and chief information officer, has decided to leave the company at the end of the year. After joining Home Depot in 2002 he organised and developed the company’s IT infrastructure, which has made possible a great number of innovations, e.g the self-payment checkout systems.
