The French Bricorama Group has announced that sales in the 2007 business year came to € 649.6 mio, or 3.1 per cent more than the previous year. Sales were 0.4 per cent down in the fourth quarter to € 151.1 mio. Two Batkor stores and one Bricorama outlet were closed in France during this period, resulting in a sales decline of 4.3 per cent. The group also announced a sales increase of 11.6 per cent for the 2007 business year for its DIY stores in Belgium and the Netherlands, which Bricorama operates as a franchisee of Intergamma. In Spain the group recorded a turnover in excess of € 12 mio for its three DIY stores there.
