Gains for DIY business

The DIY stores of the Irish Grafton Group increased their sales by ten per cent in 2007

The Grafton Group’s annual report reveals that the two DIY chains belonging to the group, Woodie’s DIY and Atlantic, succeeded in increasing their sales in the recently completed 2007 financial year by 10.3 per cent to € 320 mio. The number of Woodie’s DIY outlets remained the same as last year at 26, while the number of Atlantic stores went down by one in the second half of the year to a total of 15. The group is planning to open four new stores this year.
