The German building and DIY stores failed by 1.4 per cent to achieve the previous year’s level of sales

Last year the DIY retailers in Germany recorded sales of € 17.64 bn, or 1.4 per cent less than the previous year. This calculation of the so-called DIY Panel made by the GfK on behalf of the BHB is based on stores with a heated sales area of more than 1 000 m².
