Adams’ departure from Kingfisher

George Adams, who is leaving Kingfisher after serving the company for 15 years, intends to seek new opportunities elsewhere. As managing director for European development since 2005 he has been responsible for Kingfisher’s expansion in Russia, Poland, Turkey and Italy. The scope of his remit has also included the two British trade-oriented companies, Screwfix and Trade Depot. What is more, George Adams has been president of the European Home Centre Retail Association (EDRA) since May 2007.
