More exhibitors than ever before

The DIY trade fair took place for the 27th time at the Kortrijk Xpo from 27 – 29 January 2008. Altogether 211 exhibitors were represented there, “The highest figure we’ve ever had since the event first began,” as exhibition director Pieter Desmet commented happily. Occupying a net space of 14 000 m², they displayed their latest product lines in the categories of decoration, garden, wood/building, hardware, plumbing, tools and electrical. The total number of trade visitors from the Benelux countries and France amounted to just short of 5 000. From next year the DIY event is to be held in the autumn instead of at the beginning of the year. The dates for 2009 are 27 – 29 September.
