Exit MO2

MO2 (Modos), the pilot DIY store of the Madrid hardware cooperative Comafe, was closed down at the end of 2007 after just nine months in operation. The results simply failed to come up to expectations, according to a report from the Spanish industry news service Ferrepress. The trading format, which was launched in Rivas-Vaciamadrid (Madrid) in March 2007, was 1 500 m² in size and structured in three product 'worlds': decoration, garden and DIY.
