Attendance slightly up

Heimtextil – the international trade fair for home and contract textiles – attracted a total of 86 378 visitors from 117 countries to Frankfurt from 9 – 12 January (2007: 85 824). Registration figures show 30 902 trade visitors from Germany (2007: 30 982) and 55 476 from abroad. This means that international participation remained on last year’s level of 64 per cent. Figures from the organisers show the number of exhibitors at 2 844 (2007: 2 907). They came to Frankfurt from 65 different countries.
