End of the Bauklotz era in Germany

The Werkmarkt Group, which is part of Zeus, and the Hagebaumarkt stores are gaining new members. This results from the decision by 26 members of the Bauklotz alliance to move their total of 32 stores to one of the businesses belonging to the Zeus system: 23 members have signed a contract with Werkmarkt covering 29 stores, and three other members have moved their outlets to the Hagebaumarkt system. The underlying reason for these changes is that Zeus no longer includes the Bauklotz business as a brand name within the system. The number of Werkmarkt outlets is now up to 171.
