Expansion in Switzerland

Schlieren in Switzerland is where a new Bauhaus store with an overall sales area of around 18 000 m², including a drive-in facility for building materials and a garden centre, is scheduled for inauguration by mid-2008. Bauhaus is investing around € 42 mio in the project. So far the company has a presence in Niederwangen, the location of a specialist centre boasting a weighted retail area of 11 400 m².
