Successful fair duo

The fourth Ifex international plant fair was held at the Makuhari exhibition site in Tokyo from 11 - 13 October, for the first time concurrently with Gardex, the first international garden trade fair. The organisers registered 29 648 trade visitors from home and abroad over the three days of the event. This amounts to a rise of 23 per cent on the previous year. A total of 732 companies exhibited at the fair duo, 188 of them from countries abroad that included Germany, France, Britain, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands. The British manufacturers’ association Gardenex organised a group pavilion at Gardex, where eleven member companies displayed their wares.
