Business stagnating

The French Bricorama Group achieved sales of € 170.4 bn in the third quarter of 2007, an increase of 0.1 per cent that leaves it at last year’s level. In the first nine months of the current financial year the group achieved a sales increase of 4.2 per cent to € 498.5 bn. While third-quarter sales in France went down by 3.8 per cent over last year, the company was able to notch up growth of 9.3 per cent in Belgium. Sales of the three Spanish stores reached last year’s level, according to figures from the group, and its Chinese subsidiary started to do business in the third quarter.
