Praktiker Group's net sales rose by 27.1 per cent (€ 221.0 mio) to € 1 036.5 mio in Q3 2007. For the first nine months the group reports sales up by 25.6 per cent to € 3.041.5 mio. The Max Bahr brand has contributed € 525.1 mio to the sales figure since its consolidation in February. If this contribution is discounted, the group's sales grew by 3.9 per cent over this period to € 2 516.4 mio. According to information from the company, proceeds from sales in Germany rose by 29.29 per cent to € 738.4 mio in the first nine months. The sales volume came to around € 560 mio excluding Max Bahr, which corresponds to a net 0.6 per cent decrease in like-for-like terms. Foreign sales reached a new record level of € 793.5 mio during the same period, or 24.4 per cent more than the comparable period last year.
