Obi completed the 2006/2007 financial year with sales up by 9.4 per cent on the previous year to € 5.78 bn. The foreign share of sales amounted to 37.2 per cent. The company’s total number of stores rose by 12 to 502 during the period under consideration, and floorspace grew by 170 960 m² to 3.345 mio m². Obi continued to assert its market leadership in Germany with sales growth of 3.6 per cent to € 3.36 bn.
