German-Italian joint venture

Kärcher has entered into a joint venture with the Italian company Uniflex Utiltime. The aim as expressed in a press release is to expand the company’s market position in the garden sector, which is a new field of business for Kärcher. Uniflex is regarded as the leading Italian manufacturer of garden watering systems. As Hartmut Jenner, chairman of Kärcher’s board of management, says about the agreement with Uniflex, “Our partner’s established range of products allows us to add vital related accessories to complement our garden pumps.”
