Bricorama goes for growth in Spain

The French DIY retailer Bricorama intends to have between 10 and 15 locations across Spain by 2010, according to a report in Ferrepress, the Spanish online trade news service. At present the French company has one DIY store in Valladolid, another in Vinaroz (Castellón) and a third in Alcoy (Alicante). These three stores with their combined sales area of around 10 000² achieved a sales increase of 52 per cent for a total of € 3.5 mio in the second quarter 2007.
