15.8 per cent sales plus

During the first half of 2007, the Hagebau Group increased centrally invoiced sales (including affiliated companies) in Germany by 15.8 per cent to € 1.865 bn. Overall sales increased by 11.6 per cent to € 1.997 bn. As the cooperative group explains, the builders' and timber merchant division made a crucial contribution to this growth. On the retail side the 288 Hagebaumarkt outlets (previous year: 285) were able to increase retail sales overall by 5.5 per cent in the period from January to June.
