The Mr. Bricolage Group increased sales revenue by 7.5 per cent in the first six months of 2007

The sales channels of the Mr. Bricolage Group increased their sales revenue in the first half of 2007 by 7.5 per cent to € 913.7 mio. While the Mr. Bricolage stores were able to record a sales increase of 8.2 per cent to € 850.9 mio, sales of the Catena stores declined by 1.1 per cent to € 62.8 mio. The 413 Mr. Bricolage stores had a combined retail area of 1 171 mio m² at the end of June 2007, following six new openings (+22 355 m²) and 14 store extensions (+25 704 m²). The number of Catena outlets went down by four to 102, and their retail area also suffered a 2.6 per cent reduction to 103 000 m².
