New international appointments at Obi

Andreas Gruß took over as country manager for Obi in Poland in mid-July 2007. In this function he has responsibility for the company’s current total of 29 stores in Poland and for further expediting its programme of expansion. As commercial director Russia, Axel-Dieter Hartenstein has been responsible since the beginning of July 2007 for the strategic conduct of overall category management, promotions and logistics for the regional company in Russia. Obi currently operates a total of eleven stores in Russia.
