Rautakesko reports quarterly figures

In the second quarter of 2007 Rautakesko achieved net sales of € 686.6 mio, which amounts to growth of 20 per cent on the same period last year. The group reveals a sales increase of 16.5 per cent to € 266.3 mio for Finland, and a rise of 22.8 per cent to € 419.7 mio for its international subsidiaries. This means the foreign share of sales comes to 61.1 per cent. Rautakesko reveals total sales of € 1.221 bn for the first half of 2007, which is 22 per cent more than for the first six months of 2006. Sales of € 481.87 mio (+15.5 per cent) were recorded in Finland and of € 783.0 mio abroad (+26.7 per cent). The foreign branches generated 60.5 per cent of total sales.
