Hagebau Austria: Sales up

Hagebau Austria succeeded in further strengthening its market leadership in the builders’ merchant and DIY retail sector in 2006, when it achieved the best operating result of its history. As the cooperative organisation announced, revenue rose once again by 5.6 per cent over the previous year to € 383 mio. This successful result breaks down into contributions both from the building and timber merchant trade (+ 6.2 per cent) and from the retail trade (+ 4.7 per cent). Since the beginning of this year the Austrian Hagebaumarkt stores have been integrated into Zeus.
