Baumax :Ambitious goal

Having made a start in Romania in the autumn of 2006, Baumax is continuing on an expansionary course which includes the opening of one store each in Cluj (10 000 m²) and Târgu Mures (12 000 m²) featuring a drive-in facility for building materials. Baumax's goal is to operate a widespread network of branches in Romania as the country's market leader and trendsetter. Two more stores are planned for this year still, so that the network will have expanded to six by the end of 2007. There are also plans to open five more stores annually over the next few years.
