Final report on Domotex Middle East

Domotex Middle East has come to a successful conclusion in Dubai, according to a press release from the organisers. A total of 269 exhibitors (+ 12 per cent) of 37 nationalities presented their products and innovations there from 11 to 13 June, while 6 326 trade visitors (+ 22 per cent) from 92 countries obtained an overview of the products available in the different product categories. Belgium, the Netherlands, America, India, China, Austria and Afghanistan all had country pavilions at the event, and were joined by Germany as well this year. Companies from France, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Ireland, Norway and Poland were represented for the first time. Included within the fair's catchment area alongside the United Arab Emirates are the other states that make up the Golf Cooperation Council (GCC): Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Also covered are Iran, India, Pakistan, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Egypt. The next Domotex Middle East is due to be held from 16 to 18 June 2008.
