Over 80 per cent of exhibitors will be coming from abroad; no plans to open to the public

The organisers of this year's Spoga in Cologne are expecting around 1 320 exhibitors (1 070 from abroad, including about 300 from China alone) on a gross exhibition space of 190 000 m². These figures are comparable with those recorded two years ago, when Spoga was held for the first time without Gafa. According to information from fair management, about 300 of the bookings can be classified as typical Gafa exhibitors. Oliver Kuhrt, executive director of Koelnmesse, explains that there is no thought of opening the event to the public, as is the case with Practical World.
