Bricorama announces sales growth of 11 per cent for the first quarter of 2007

For the first quarter the French DIY retail group Bricorama announces sales growth of 10.9 per cent to € 152.8 mio. In Belgium and the Netherlands, where the group is an Intergamma franchisee, it was able to record a sales increase of 14.2 per cent for a total of € 47.4 mio, partly through the integration of two stores that were acquired in December 2006 and January 2007. Sales in Spain were trebled through two new openings in the second quarter of 2006 to € 2.6 mio.
