Customers perceive the DIY stores in Germany as an uninspired patchwork of goods and services

German DIY stores are perceived by their customers as an uninspired patchwork of goods and services, in spite of all the efforts made by the marketers to differentiate themselves from the competition. This emerges from a large-scale and up-to-date consumer survey carried out by Konzept & Markt of Wiesbaden and Dähne Verlag of Ettlingen. It is still the case that customers' perception of the DIY retailers is determined mainly by price.
You can find further details from this survey under the Trade Topics heading in DIYglobal plus (v. Other Articles on this Topic).
