Europe's number one intends to open 40 stores altogether during the current financial year

Kingfisher, Europe's number one, intends to open 40 stores altogether in ten countries during the course of the current 2007/2008 financial year. This will result in the total number of outlets belonging to the group's four retail formats, B&Q, Castorama, Brico Dépôt and Koçtas, rising to 759. The majority of the new stores will be launched in France, followed by China and Poland.
