Successful quarter

Rautakesko succeeded in increasing sales in the first quarter 2007 by 24.9 per cent to € 542.4 mio. For Finland the group has announced sales growth of 15 per cent to € 222.2 mio. An increase of 32.9 per cent for a total of € 320.2 mio was on record for the group's business abroad (Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia). The figures also reveal a sales increase in March of 48 per cent for the Baltic countries and of 60 per cent for Russia.
