Home Depot tests multi-storey displays of major home appliances

Home Depot intends to increase the sale of white goods in its stores, which is why it is testing quite a number of new two-storey display areas, according to a report from Reuters. From mid-June 2007 there will be an additional display of fridges and washing machines on a second mezzanine floor in a total of 45 older stores. Home Depot had already converted 20 stores to this merchandising style by the end of January.
