Purchase finalised

Rona, the Canadian DIY and builders' merchant group, has been given the green light by the authorities for the purchase of Noble Trade. Established in 1998 through the amalgamation of Trade Plumbing Supplies with Noble Plumbing Supplies, the company is one of the leading plumbing and heating wholesalers in Ontario. Over the past twelve months the company has recorded a turnover of C $ 150 mio with a workforce of 150. Following the purchase of Matériaux Coupal, Chester Dawe and Curtis Lumber in 2006, Rona can now continue to expand its wholesale business with the addition of Noble Trade.
