New opening in Norway

Rautakesko opened a new Byggmakker superstore in Økern, Oslo, on 29 March. It boasts an overall retail area of 8 368 m² which includes a garden centre of 920 m² and a builders' yard of 3 779 m². Evident within the store is the application of the group's new concept, which aims to provide overall solutions to problems, to stock a broad range of products, and to appeal to female customers above all. Byggmakker Norge AS is part of the Finnish Rautakesko group, which operates 21 of the 119 stores itself.
