BHHMA to be known as BHETA

The British Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers' Association (BHHMA) is to be known as the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) from 28 June this year. At an extraordinary general meeting on 22 March some 87.5 per cent of members voted in favour of the change of name. As the association's president David French explained, the aim of this move is to widen the circle of potential members, since the current sectors of hardware, housewares and brushes are not sufficient to maintain the association's viability and relevance to the market.
