The Power Tools division of Bosch is continuing to grow. Sales of power tools, accessories, garden tools and measuring equipment went up by six per cent to € 2.8 bn in 2006. Ninety per cent of this figure was achieved outside Germany. The most important growth regions included Europe, the Asia-Pacific countries and Latin America, where Power Tools notched up double-digit growth. The company also saw double-digit growth worldwide for the third year running where industrial power tools are concerned. "Bosch has once again grown more strongly than the global market, particularly through launching new products," said Uwe Raschke, chairman of the Power Tools board.
