Growth for Canadian Tire Retail

Canadian Tire Retail achieved total sales of CAD $ 7.727 bn (€ 5.047 bn) in 2006, which amounts to growth of 5.4 per cent on the previous year. The increase came to 3.5 per cent in like-for-like terms. The company was able to grow its EBIT by 5.5 per cent to CAD $ 306 mio (€ 200 mio). For the fourth quarter of 2006 Canadian Tire Retail reports a 4.4 per cent increase in sales (2.2 per cent like-for-like) to CAD $ 2.07 bn (€ 1.35 bn).
